Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Friends For Life Residential Care – Toledo, OH
Salary: Pay Rates Based Upon experience and Certifications for all positions.

Friends for Life Residential Care is seeking full time and part time employees to work as Direct Support Professionals with individuals with Developmental Disabilities. There are some 1st shifts available, but mostly 2nd and 3rd shifts. The hours vary due to location. We will work with your availability.

All direct support professional positions require:

Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and good driving record, less than 6 points
Must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or GED required
Must complete background check BCII/FBI check if you haven’t lived in Ohio for 5 years
Experience in the DD field is preferred but not required
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds consistently
Must be able to work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
Major Duties and Responsibilities include: Assisting clients with personal care including but not limited to: bathing, grooming and personal hygiene, oral hygiene, dressing, and feeding. Help the clients with meal planning, cleaning, grocery shopping, and various other duties and responsibilities as needed
