IDD Health Matters Ep 6: Diane Moore Executive Director of DDNA

IDD Health Matters hosted by Craig Escudé, MD, FAAFP, FAADM features guests from across the globe who are leading the efforts to improve health, wellness and health equity for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Diane has been a Registered Nurse for 37 years and has worked in the field of developmental disabilities nursing for over 30 of those years. She is a Certified Developmental Disabilities Nurse, being certified in the specialty of developmental disabilities nursing for over 25 years. She has provided nursing support and clinical oversight to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) across the lifespan and across the spectrum of support settings. Over the years, Diane has educated and mentored many nurses working with individuals with IDD, providing clinical guidance and supervision in the specialty. In addition to having experience in providing supports to persons with IDD in a variety of settings, she has experience with policy development and implementation and has participated in task forces to address practice issues in Texas.
